Are you looking for a fun loving younger dog to join your family? Then look no further because sweet Princess is the pup for you. As she is a bit of a wiggle worm she is difficult to take photos of so don't be deceived by these shots, in person she is gorgeous!
At about 18 months young Princess is still very much a puppy who will need further training but her foster Dad has been working on some basics with her and she is learning fast. We believe in telling our adopters the truth so here it is, her worst habit is affectionately greeting you with exuberant hugs! She just cannot contain her excitement and will jump up lovingly to give you a cuddle- younger children might find this a little overwhelming but let's talk if they are a part of your family already :)
Princess loves her cuddles and is unaware of her 40lb size - let's not make her body conscious and find her a family that is happy with a medium sized lap dog! She loves the outdoors and is always ready for an adventure or two. Do you run or hike? Need a buddy? Then this is your match for sure :) Princess has never been around cats and is good with other dogs with proper introduction. She can be a little bossy so might be best with a more submissive partner personality. Princess will be joining us from Louisiana around the 18/19th April. As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location at which you can visit our dogs, consequently we only honor meeting requests from preapproved adopters. Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. It won't obligate you to anything or any particular dog but gives us a great place from which to begin the matching process. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $350 which includes all transport, vetting (including spay/neuter) and microchipping.
