Duke is a handsome little prince! He gives the best snuggles and loves to curl up next to you on the couch to relax. Duke loves to be outside sun bathing on the deck or exploring outdoors. He walks well on leash, but does want to meet all the humans and canines he encounters. He just wants to say hello! Duke is very food driven, which definitely helps with basic training. Duke is fully house trained, knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. Some days Duke is a lazy couch potato and other days he is energetic and ready to go on a hike.

Duke needs a loving person or family that doesn't have any other dogs as he prefers all the treats and attention for himself. Duke is still a youngster, and has so much potential to learn and grow! We would love to see him in a home who can dedicate the time an energy to keep him exercised, trained and engaged. If you have kids, age 10+ would be preferred due to Duke's energy level. He has so much love and snuggles to give to his new forever home!

As a purely foster based rescue we have no central location where you can visit our dogs. Therefore, we only honor meet requests from pre-approved adopters, with an application on file.  Please fill in our online application at www.myaarf.org as fully as you can. Please allow 24-48 hours for a response from our busy volunteers. Adoption Fee is $450 which includes all transport, vetting and micro-chipping. *Completion of obedience training is a requirement for adoption through AARF.*
